In only a moment, there was silence.
The once blue planet was now
bright orange, yellow, and red.
Not a bird did chirp, not a rat did stir.
Tormented and twisted,
warped and deranged…
Deranged without meaning
until things have changed.
Changed from the end to the beginning
before it’s too late.
A silent crack in the wall…that’s all that remained.
Maybe now they can rest.
Maybe now they are free.
Abortion wasn’t good enough
as they turned their back
on trusting Me.
The silent crack in the wall
is all that remained.
For as the last eyelid closed
without any love,
now it was the end.
You who say you believe,
turn and ask me
to bring about change.
Or you will have no rest
and roam like a beast without a home.
