Poem: Splashed into Vision
October 31, 2024Poem: Dark Light
October 31, 2024A child copies their parent's behavior without a word; as the old saying goes: monkey see, monkey do. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree by actions and emotional sounds, as the energy behind all spiritual force from parent to child is released.
The squeeze of his snaky coils becomes tighter still when wrestling with the devil, and everything not of love comes out of the mouth.
Anger, doubt, and fear come out when the joy from the oils of gladness is not there. Strongholds grow inside a soul, moving victims out instead of slipping through the dragon's grip. For this serpent of darkness takes control while the light is not there. It directs steps toward the abyss and away from heaven. All are taken in through the skin by a heritage of osmosis of sin versus moments of stillness by way of Christ and up into eternal bliss.
