Poem – Cry and Smile
November 5, 2024
Enough for today,
but then it is gone.
Life must be kept fresh
stillness, before moving on.
For when losing one's way,
all doth grow dark.
Light, guiding light,
through the clouds
which is suppressed.
Closing in. Terror!
Blotting out
what it is to
be alive in the chai;
City of God’s breath.
Out of the mouth,
words are spoken.
Resuscitating to the throne?
Man doth not live
by bread alone.
